The sixty-fifth thing I love about us is watching for shooting stars by the light of the full moon. It's a terrible time for spotting shooting stars, especially here in the suburbs. But in the best kind of dark for stargazing, I couldn't so easily look over and see your earnest profile tipped skyward in the gentle celestial light.

ReplyDeleteBut I think it did kinda make the ones we saw seem even more exciting, so I guess that's okay. And anyway, I probably wouldn't want to go out when it's so dark it's scary-dark.
