The one hundred and seventy-first thing I love about us is how easily you fall for my teasing and practical jokes. I sometimes half wonder if you're just humoring me, because I know you're clever enough to catch on.
Not very many people get to be with somebody as wonderful as you, Elle. In fact, I can count them and there are only exactly five besides me...
Well, I mean, if I tried to look out for your jokes, I wouldn't get to think they were funny and you wouldn't get to think how cute I am for falling for them. So it seems like it's a total lose-lose for me to not just trust you on pretty much everything! Which, you know, I always want to do anyway.
